was born on Aug. 6, 1920 in Chaperito, NM, the son of Cruz and Sabina Arguello. He passed on to heaven on Aug. 20, 2015.

He was known to everyone as Mr. Arguello, “Billy the Kid”, Uncle and Grandpa. He was the kindest and most wonderful father, grandpa and uncle and had just celebrated this 95 birthday with his family and friends. Everyone he met, he would touch their heart with his amazing personality. He was a rancher and a Corporal in WWII and served as a medic. He returned and married Mary Urioste and they moved to Arizona in 1947. He was a haulage truck driver for Kennecott until he retired after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, taking the family every weekend fishing and camping and best of all, going to his “Home Sweet Home”, the casino.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Arguello; infant firstborn son, David; parents; and brother, Philidelfio Arguello.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Bernice Arguello, and their children, Leroy Paul Arguello, Valerie Arguello, Sophia (Kevin) Gonzales and Frankie Bracamonte; son, Robert Arguello, and his children, Robert Allen Arguello and Marlaina (Louis) Valenzuela; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Rudy Velasco, and their sons, Rudy (Tiffany) Velasco and David (Corrinna) Velasco; his beloved great-grandchildren, Ashalia and Keira Velasco, Jordan and Alyssa Arguello, Chris and Leslie Arguello, Sharina (Keith) Jordan, Leticia Arguello, Alejandro Arguello, Damien Hernandez and Maritza (Aaron) Kochersperger; great-great-grandchildren, Stephen and Seiko Jordan; brothers-in-law, Tony (Martha) Urioste and Charlie (Diane) Urioste; sisters-in-law, Tillie Allen and Jennie Urioste; and many nieces and nephews.

God Bless You Grandpa. We Love You and Will Miss You.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at the Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Kearny, AZ. Viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery, Hayden, AZ. A luncheon will be served at the church hall.
