Ray’s track team competes in Miami

The Ray high school track and field team traveled and hit the track at Miami on April 10. The team had Lady ‘Cats coming in second and third in the 110m hurdles. Two Bearcats came in second and fifth in the 110m hurdles.

In the 100m, three of the Lady ‘Cats all came in first for their heats. In the boys 100m, the Bearcats had one runner in first for heat one, one runner in second for heat two, and a first and third runner in heat three.

Both boys and girls 4x100m relay team took second place. In the 300m hurdles, a Lady ‘Cat took third place. During the 800m, the Lady ‘Cats claimed a second place. For the girls 200m the Lady ‘Cats had a first in the second heat, and a second and third in the third heat. For the boys 200, the Bearcats had a first and third for the third heat.
