Copper Corridor resident wins golf tournament in Nevada

Tommy Chavez

Tommy Chavez, who lives in Oracle and is a well known golfer in the Copper Corridor, recently won a golf tournament in Nevada. Tommy won the Elko Amateur Tournament played at the par 72 Ruby View Golf Course with an overall 2 under par score of 142. The trophy was presented by Ruby View Golf Course PGA tour professional Brad Martin. Tommy was proudly wearing his Hayden Golf Club shirt.
