Paul Arias named to Oracle Fire District Board

Oracle Fire Board member Ellie Brown swears in the newest member Paul Arias.

  Last week, the Oracle Fire District welcomed a new member to its board. Paul Arias was sworn in at the board meeting on July 17. He replaces outgoing member William Ramsay.

  Ramsay has been on the board for the past year and has served the district in many capacities over a 25-year span. His last position in the Oracle Fire Department was as Assistant Chief.

  A representative of the Oracle Fire District said, “We thank Mr. Ramsay for his numerous years of service to

OFD and to his community and wish him and his wife, Linda, the very best in their new life up north!”

  Arias was born and raised in the Tri-Community and has lived in Oracle since 1975. Along with raising his family, Arias also works in Oracle and was a volunteer firefighter for OFD back when the district was volunteer-based fire department.

  “We welcome Mr. Arias to the OFD Board and thank him for continuing to

contribute to our great community!” the Oracle Fire District representative said.
