Pianist Alexander Korstantia will perform in Oracle Arizona on Oct. 30.

Oracle Arizona –  The Oracle Piano Society Gala will be celebrated, soon with concert, cocktail, company and cookery. The concert will feature internationally acclaimed pianist Alexander Korsantia. A cocktail reception and a four course meal, provided by the Oracle Patio Cafe, will follow the performance.

Dubbed “a major artist” by the Miami Herald and a “quiet maverick” by the Daily Telegraph, pianist Alexander Korsantia has been praised for the “clarity of his technique, richly varied tone and dynamic phrasing” (Baltimore Sun), and a “piano technique where difficulties simply do not exist” (Calgary Sun). The Boston Globe found his interpretation of “Pictures of an Exhibition” to be “a performance that could annihilate all others one has heard.”  Korsantia has been heralded and received many awards throughout his international concerts.

The Oracle Piano Society Gala will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30, starting at 3 p.m. at the Oracle Center for the Arts, 700 E. Kingston St. in Oracle. Concert, reception and dinner will be $150, including a $40 tax deduction. For the concert and reception alone, $50 or $20 at the student rate. Tickets may be obtained from EVENTBRITE, oraclepianosociety.org or by calling 623-295-9677.
