The Arizona Elks State Hoop Shoot was held at the Apache Junction Jr. High School on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Our local champion, Sarrah Perez missed coming in first place by only three shots. She took second place in over 1,000 girls in her age group competing in the Hoop Shoot this year, and was beat out by last years champion. The Elks and the community are very proud of Sarrah and her great accomplishment.
