Each year student leadership at Central Arizona College recognizes the Exemplary Women at CAC and Pinal County. The tribute is recognition of Women’s Herstory Month. Women’s History (Herstory) Month is a time to reflect and honor women’s successes and contributions to society.

On March 25, 2015 CAC Aravaipa Campus honored Maria Munoz (Hayden), Ellie Brown (Oracle), Marie Roybal (San Manuel), Lisa Armenta (San Manuel) and Maren Wilson (Oracle) for their successes and contributions in Pinal County.

Josette Kimmel of the Student Leadership Organization at CAC Aravaipa acted as MC and presented welcome and introductions. Dean Foster spoke and invited everyone to enjoy a lunch provided by the CAC cafeteria. Benny Desantiago presented Certificates of Award to the Women. Ellie Brown was the guest speaker and spoke about women leaders and the importance of diversity and unity in the workplace. Congratulations ladies and thank you for the work you have done and continue to do to make our communities a better place to live.
