In a white cottage that was brought to Oracle from the old mining town of Tiger, a group of artists have set up their unique handcrafted art and wares for the shopping public. The charming cottage has been fixed up and the four rooms are filled with original artwork from 12 Oracle artists. Everything from holiday theme cards, jewelry, ornaments, garden art, ceramics, paintings and much more are available at reasonable prices. Many items are priced under $15.

The Holiday Gifts and Art Market will be open 15 days in December for your shopping pleasure. They are open Wednesdays through Sundays on Dec. 3-7, 10-14, 17-21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. “Meet the Artists” on Friday, Dec. 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and enjoy an evening of hors d’oeuvres, desserts and art. The 12 participating artists are Jill Caid, Susie Cochran, Anna Marie Martin, Alicia Bristow, Allison Griffin, Sharon Holnback, Laurel Roth, Elvia Schwenke, Carolann Small, Judy Walsh, Susan Daigneault and Val Bembenek.

The Holiday Gifts and Art Market is located at 35 W. American Ave. just west of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
