The Copper Town Days Association donated funds to two local organizations at their monthly meeting held Tuesday, June 2. President Marie Roybal presented a check for $50 to Adelante Juntos for their Crafts for Kids Program and a check for $200 to San Manuel Community Schools. The association is busy planning its Copper Town Days celebration which will be held this year in October. This year it is the 60th anniversary of San Manuel’s founding (1954) and they would like to make Copper Town Days an extra special event this year.
