  Helen Marie Heath, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021 in Apache Junction, AZ.

  Helen was born on Oct. 20, 1934 in Pagosa Springs, CO to parents Robert and Grace Crouse. Helen graduated high school in Pagosa Springs. She married James Floyd Heath. Together they had two children, Janet (Val) Danilow of Kearny, AZ and James P. (Deb) Heath of Sedona, AZ.

  Helen was a happy homemaker, but she also had a range of interests and hobbies. Helen was a seamstress who made her family clothing, including James’ western shirts. She was an accomplished writer and was published in local papers in Aztec, New Mexico. She also studied under Tony Hillerman a famous writer who taught in Famington, New Mexico. 

  Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Crouse; her husband, James Floyd Heath;  and sister, Kathy Blount. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Val) Danilow; son, James P. (Deb) Heath; grandson, Bill (Christy) Danilow; great-grandchild, Alyssa (Gabe) Rascon; and great-great-grandchildren, Aiden and Dimitri Rascon.   

  Only private services for the family are planned at this time.
