SPATS presents ‘The Savannah Sipping Society’

  After some delay due to unforeseen circumstances, the San Pedro Actors Troupe will be performing the laugh a minute theatrical production The Savannah Sipping Society. The play is about four middle aged Southern women wanting to change the dreary routine of their everyday lives. They meet each other at a bar and share a happy hour and their problems.

  Over the next six months they learn more about each other and begin to bond as friends while they deal with their problems and try to help each other which leads to hilarious misadventures. The play is written by three award winning writers, Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.

  The play is produced by Rose Milam and directed by Van Howell. The actors are: Michelle Egan, Nancy Manning, Christine Oberth, Becky Greer and Fox McGrew.

  The Savannah Sipping Society opens Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at 7 p.m. at SPATS Theater, 730 E. American Ave. in Oracle. Shows are scheduled Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 1, 7 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 2, 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 3, 2 p.m. Admission price is $15 with a $1 off with donation of canned food which goes to the local food bank.
