Baseball, softball seasons start for Hayden Jr. High

Hayden Jr. Lobos

  The Hayden Junior High Lobos softball and baseball teams traveled to Oracle for their first games of the new season on Monday, Feb. 26. The Lobo baseball team came away with an easy win over the Mt. Vista Cougars 15 to 1. The Lady Lobos softball team fell to Mt. Vista 14 to 2.

  Playing softball for Hayden are: Sativa Carrazco, Felicity Boltarez, Miranda Gomez, Leticia Ahumada, Aiyanna Gonzales, Makena Arbizo, Alya Smith, Nicholette Lagunas, Mersedez Cervantez, Karissa Acuna and manager, Racquela Westrope. Coaches are Marisa Gallego, Pedro Gallego and Nimo Lorona.

  On the Lobos’ baseball team roster are: Roman Mariscal, Rene Arbizo, Jaden Smith, Aaron Peed, Julian Gonzales, Damien Smith, Moraes Cruz, Brandon Garner, Jando Lorona, Julian Ahumada, Fabian Elvira, Emilio Rivera, Alonzo Gonzales, Roman Sandoval, J.J. Aguirre, Deondre Collier, Jarin Cruz, Esmael Gallegos, Raymond Ramirez, and Johnny Arbizo. Coaches are Al “Chito” Lopez and Bobby Smith.
