Copper Basin News

Annie Hinojos and the staff of the Hayden Senior Center put together a fun filled Halloween luncheon for the seniors and other adults from Hayden and surrounding areas. Several attendees are regulars. The food was terrific.

Annie and her staff spend great amounts of time preparing for special events for the Hayden Senior Center and the people who attend. The staff feels very compassionate towards the seniors and helping make their holidays special.

During the Halloween lunch celebration, the attendees filled cards with their names for drawings. The prize winners won gift bags with candy and other treats. The grand prize was a large basket filled with Halloween items, a stuffed teddy bear, blanket and candy. Everyone seemed to have an enjoyable time and more wonderful memories were created.

The next Hayden Senior Center events are a Thanksgiving Celebration which will be Nov. 13, and a Christmas Party (including Santa Claus) will be Dec. 11. If you are interested or have any questions, you may contact the Senior Center at 520-356-7035.

Thank you, Annie, Lisa Martinez and the rest of the staff at Hayden Senior Center for all you do to help make the seniors and other adults have special memories!
