Letter to the Editor: Thank You for the Grief Support

Dear Editor,

Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center would like to send a sincere “Thank You” to Copper Communities Hospice, Gemini Hospice, and Thema Health Services (formerly The Crossing) for partnering together to provide a service that is so very needed in this community.

We would also like to send a very special “Thank You” to Ed Walsh of Gemini Hospice, Roger King of Thema Healthcare and Dennis VanGorp of Copper Communities Hospice – For 6 weeks they volunteered their time and made this Grief Support Group a possibility. They came together to assist the community without anything in it for themselves, and for that they deserve our deepest thanks.

Grief is something that eventually touches everyone, but because of people like this, who care about our community, grief is no longer something that needs to be endured alone.

The Grief Support Group, held in Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center’s Medical Office Building, will start up again near the beginning of the year. We will announce the dates for that session both here in the paper and on our Facebook page once those dates are made.

Thank you,

Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center
