A request was made by Towns of Queen Creek and Superior to tour our ASARCO’s Ray Mine on June 27th. They were introduced to on-site safety procedures and a short video on “Copper How its Made”. Mike Kotraba (General Manager Ray Mine) gave a short presentation of the Ray Mine Operations and the area economic impacts before entering the field portion of the tour. The Councilmembers noted how they enjoyed the tour prior to leaving on the hot June day.
