All Stars underway, but it’s the volunteers that keep things running smoothly

Superior also fielded All Star teams for other divisions. The 9-10 year old boys All Stars and 13-16 girls softball all stars traveled to Coolidge to start their tournament on Monday. The girls won their first game 1-0 against Coolidge. The boys 9-10 years old lost 12-2 against Florence. Boys: Jerimiah Cordero, J. Anthony Davis, David Drennan, Zach Duarte, Marcos Galindo, Jerek Hughes, Adam Lopez, Aaron Martinez, Isaiah Pacheco, Damien Peralta, Joel Romero, Jared Toner. Coaches Richard Toner, Louie Peralta and Elias Olmos.

The Superior Little League is the host for the district 11-12 year old boy’s all star tournaments this year. Teams from all over Pinal County will be traveling to Superior to play in the tournament. The tournament requires a steady stream of volunteers to ensure that the tournament goes off without a hitch.
