Lions induct new members, swear in officers

San Manuel Miner

The San Pedro Valley Lions are adding to their pride.

On Thursday, June 18, the San Pedro Valley Lions inducted three new members, Denise Long, Susan Sanchez and Emilio Soto. They were sworn in by Past District Governor Gerson Gonzalez.

Mary Juvera was named an Honorary Member in memory of her daughter Monica Juvera who had passed away. Monica was an active member and loved by all the San Pedro Valley Lions.

Zone Chair, Mark Rabinowitz, Zone Chair was also present at the meeting.

The new officers for the Lions are President – Rudy Romo; Vice-President and Treasurer – Guillermo “Billy” Romero; Secretary – Bonnie Romo; Tail Twister – Linda Vargas; Lion Tamer – Linda Guzowski; Board Members – Al Anaya and Walter Henderson; and Past President – Ralph Herrera.
