FLORENCE – Supervisor Pete Rios is pleased to announce his office will participate in the 2014 Pinal County Christmas Diaper Drive.

The Supervisor’s office, located at 118 Catalina Avenue in Mammoth will be accepting the following items: diapers (size four or five), baby wipes and skin cream. Gift cards along with checks made out to “Pinal County Diaper Drive” will be accepted as well. Office hours are from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

“This drive collects diapers and other goods for homeless mothers and mothers in crisis,” Supervisor Rios said. “Our donations will go to help the Family First Pregnancy Center and Family Diaper Bank in Oracle and the Hope Women’s Center in Coolidge.”

This is the third year of the drive said its director Greg Thornberg. As of November 13, the drive has collected over one-fifth of its 10,000 diaper goal.

The website for the diaper drive is: http://www.christmasdiaperdrive.org.
