The Kearny Elks Lodge held its annual Soccer Shoot on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014. The winners of the Shoot each received a soccer ball. Pictured in no particular order are: Emma Stuart, Derek Figueroa, Makayla Rivera, Kassidy Ballejos, Christian Day, and Hunter Day. Not pictured, Emily Rutter who was also a winner. In the District Shoot off, held in Kearny on Saturday, Oct. 11, Emma Stuart and Derek Figueroa took first place and will advance on to the State competition on Nov. 9 at the Tempe Elks Lodge.
