Saturday afternoon the Superior Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of a new store in downtown Superior with a ribbon cutting. Soul to Soul Awakenings, is the newest store located at 16 North Magma Ave. The store is owned by Jerry and Jody Romero.

The store has a very peaceful ambiance, shoppers can find an assortment of Himalayan Salt Rock lamps, crystals, smudge bundles, and other gift items. In the coming weeks the shop will have a schedule for Yoga classes, and will take appointments for massage and chiropractic care. Other classes will also be scheduled on different topics such as using a pendulum.

The Romeros are excited for their new business venture. Jerry has been in healing therapies for close to 12 years. The store will be open on Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jerry explained that she prayed for a very long time on where to open to her business and her prayers directed her to Superior.

Yoga classes will begin this Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Yoga participants are encouraged to pre-register at the store to receive a discount on the class fee. The cost is $12 per class if you pre-register. For those registering at the door the class fee is $17 per class. These are regular yoga classes designed to help you get in touch with your spiritual self. Participants should bring their own yoga mat; there will be a limited number of mats available.

For more information, call Jerry at 480-421-8261.
