The Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition recently was presented with a check for $50,000 from the Pinal County Board of Supervisors.
District 1 Supervisor Pete Rios along with Pinal County Economic Development Director Tim Kanavel were present to present the check. The CCEDC was granted this money to continue their efforts in developing a sustainable, diversified economy in Eastern Pinal County.
The CCEDC offers free business consultations and classes through their Business Success Center and also is working on promoting tourism with their Mobile Visitor Center and website www.discovercoppercorridor.org. The board is comprised of volunteer representatives from throughout the Copper Corridor. Projects are managed through independent contractors.
