Phoenix- Business and education leader Fred DuVal, who is running for Arizona governor released the following statement today on his visit to Superior and the site of the proposed Resolution Mine.
“Rural Arizona is hurting. The recession crushed working families in rural Arizona, and no matter how hard they try, they just can’t seem to get ahead,” said DuVal. “I’ve got a detailed blueprint for how to create jobs and move rural Arizona’s economy forward. And it all starts with investing in infrastructure. One way to do that is to expand Arizona’s globally renowned mining industry.”
“The proposed Resolution Mine and the Union Pacific Red Rock Project will inject billions of dollars into Arizona’s economy and provide for thousands of jobs. We need to get started on these projects now.”
“I’m visiting Superior and the site of the proposed Resolution Mine today to talk directly with rural Arizonans about how, together, we’ll get rural Arizona’s economy working again.”
