Superior Arboretum Apartments get a new look

Superior, AZ – Renovations are on the way at Superior Arboretum Apartments. National Church Residences owns and operates the property, which is located at 199 Gray Drive.

The approximate cost of the renovations is $800,000, and the areas being renovated are the building exterior, parking lot, sidewalks, site lighting and community space. The estimated completion date is Nov. 2014. The architect firm for the renovations is Alliance Architects, and the construction firm is Tofel Construction.

“The residents will be proud of their home with the exciting new look for Superior Arboretum,” said Kathy Kraushar, regional director for National Church Residences. “The town and surrounding cities’ businesses will benefit from the various construction workers purchases of gas, food and supplies.”

Superior Arboretum provides affordable independent housing for seniors 62 years old and older, with rent based on HUD income guidelines. The community offers studio and one-bedroom unfurnished apartments. Rent includes basic cable TV (45 channels), water, sewer and trash. Amenities include free laundry room, monitored emergency pull cord system, individual heat/air conditioning control, on-site service coordinator and much more.
