A farmers market has opened in Oracle. It is located at Sue & Jerry’s Trading Post 1015 W. American Ave. Vendors are welcome and there is no cost for setting up your wares for sale. The market opened on Wednesday, June 4. It will be open every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The opening day there were vendors selling fresh baked goods, produce, cold drinks, food, local honey, jams, jellies and arts and crafts. The Pie Lady was there selling fresh fruit and chicken pot pies. “Just Tacos” had tostadas and tacos for sale. The Trading Post was also open for shoppers to browse and buy in the cool Oracle evening. “We will have food, fun and community,” said Sue Parra.
