Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles presented the Ray Bearcat Booster Club Staci Hatfield a check for $1,000 last month. The monies came from his office’s RICO fund. The club then presented Ramon Rubalcaba (Jr high athletic director) with a check for $1,000 to be used for Jr high athletics. Booster club also presented Joe Fuerstenberg with a check for $500 for the Ray High track team. The Booster Club works with Ray Schools providing a supportive role to sports, band and cheer programs and other areas as needed. The funds will be used to provide financial assistance to the school to make sure students and athletes have equipment, uniforms and money for meals while traveling.
