Kearny hosts successful pool opening

The Town of Kearny’s Pool Opening on Monday, May 26, 2014 was a record-breaker with more than 155 people enjoying the pool opening. Many families were able to enjoy the cool water and the warm weather. A huge thank you to ASARCO, Resolution Copper, Capstone and Misita Enterprises for making the pool opening a huge success. Misita Enterprises donated $800 in pool passes which were raffled off, and many families won the great prizes.

Everyone was excited to witness the huge crowd of swimmers and a great time was had by everyone. The swimming pool will be open through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, with free swim on Labor Day.

Hours are as follows:

Public Swim:  Mon., Wed., Fri., Sat. – noon to 5 p.m.; Tues., Thurs. – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Adult Swim:  Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri., Sat. – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Night Swim:  Tues., Fri. – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Daily Passes for the pool are $2 per person.

Season Passes are as follows:

1 person $40

2 persons $50

3 persons $60

4 persons $70

5 persons $80

6 or more persons $90
