First, a huge shout out “THANK YOU” to the Chamber of Commerce and all their volunteers for hosting a wonderful Pioneer Days festival. And CONGRATULATIONS on the reopening of Buzzy’s! The very first customers served by Buzzy’s when they reopened were the Jason Chiquete family. This was because the Chiquetes launched a special Facebook page titled Operation Rebuild Buzzy’s.
The Copper Basin Sportsmens’ club used Facebook to build up support for their Well Armed Woman classes and local firearm safety classes. The CBSC was able to enter a float in the Pioneer Days parade, and they’ve posted photos on their Facebook site.
Facebook is becoming a very useful tool for people, community organizations, churches and businesses to “get the word out” about what they are doing.
And the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition (CCEDC) is actually providing a FREE OF CHARGE class that is open to all that specifically helps you better understand and utilize all forms of Social Media to promote your cause, your interests, or your business. This FREE CLASS will be held on TUESDAY, April 8, 2014 beginning at 11 a.m. local time. Mila Besich Lira will be the instructor.
