Good company and good food, the Hayden Seniors celebrate Valentine’s Day. Nina Crowder | CBN

Copper Basin News

On Friday, Feb. 14 the Senior Center Valentine Luncheon at the Hayden Senior Center was filled with over 100 participants indulging themselves with wonderful company, good food and enjoying the soft music that played in the background. Seniors came from Superior, Hayden, Winkelman, Kearny, Mammoth and San Manuel.

Everyone who attended had a nice well rounded meal and goodie bags filled with treats. There was a raffle for a flat screen television and there were several people who won heart boxes with chocolates and stuffed animals. The atmosphere was uplifting and good times were had by all. Many thanks to Annie Hinojos, Lisa Martinez, Paula Romero and the rest of the staff at the Hayden Senior Center for making this a special day for all that attended.

The Hayden Senior Center provides many events throughout the year including an Easter Luncheon, Mother and Father’s Day Luncheon, Thanksgiving Luncheon and Christmas Luncheon. For more information about upcoming events feel free to contact the Hayden Senior Center at 520-356-7035.
