The Pinal County Sheriff’s Report is taken from the daily logs, based on the information provided by deputies. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Jan. 31
Edward Manuel Hernandez, 42, San Manuel, was arrested in the area of Avenue B and Avenue G, San Manuel, on a failure to appear warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
A structure fire was reported in the area of E. Los Molinas St., Mammoth. Pinal Rural Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene. The fire was determined not to be a structure fire, but was a small brush pile the homeowner was burning. The homeowner had a permit to burn.
Theft of a vehicle was reported int he 82000 block of E. Powerline Dr., Oracle. The vehicle was described as a gray 2012 Polaris Ranger.
Criminal damage and burglary were reported in the 600 block of W. Fourth Ave., San Manuel. A garage door was damaged.
Feb. 1
Theft of jewelry was reported in the 2000 block of W. Linda Vista Rd., Oracle.
Burglary was reported in the 2000 block of W. Linda Vista Rd., Oracle.
Theft of a purse was reported in the 300 block of S. Piedra Negra Dr., Queen Valley.
Deputies received a report of a child locked in a vehicle in the 35000 block of S. Highway 77, SaddleBrooke. The parents accidentally locked the keys in the vehicle with the child. Golder Ranch Fire Department responded to the scene and opened the vehicle’s doors. The child was not injured or distressed by the incident.
Feb. 2
Benjamin Daniel Molina, 21, San Manuel, was arrested in the area of McNab Pkwy. and Sixth Ave., San Manuel, and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Feb. 3
Burglary was reported in the 85000 block of E. Hussey St., Mammoth.
Burglary was reported in the 88000 block of E. River Ranch Rd., Mammoth.
Criminal damage was reported in the 1000 block of W. American Ave., Oracle. A business’s window was broken after it was shot with a BB gun.
Assault was reported by a person in the 52000 block of E. US Highway 60, Top of the World. The assault occurred in Superior.
Feb. 5
An accident without injuries was reported at milepost 94 on E. Highway 77, Oracle. An ambulance hit and killed a deer. The ambulance was not damaged.
An unattended death was reported in the 38000 block of S. Casual Dr., SaddleBrooke.
Theft of a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of S. Ladera Pl., San Manuel. It was later determined that the vehicle was not stolen and was returned to the registered owner.
A man called PCSO and reported that his friend had been thrown from a horse. They were at the junction of the Arizona Trail and the Legends of Superior Trail near Superior. Superior EMS was dispatched to the scene, located the man and transported him to Mountain Vista Hospital in Apache Junction.
