Winter Wonderland parade winners announced; fun had by all

With brightly shining lights on all the entries, the judges in the annual Winter Wonderland Electric Light Parade were duly dazzled Saturday night.

But, as is the way with judges, they have made their rulings and they are final. No appeals will be heard, no matter how bright.

And the winners are:

Judges’ Choice: ROTC

Best Group: Elementary Band

Best Individual: 4H Kearny Koyotes

Best Use of Theme: Infant Jesus of Prague

Best Religious Theme: Eddie Tires

Best Use of Lights: Kearny Fire Department

A special award was given to the Ray High School Band for “staying in Kearny for the parade.”
