Kearny Police Report – April 6, 2016

  According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates.

Mar. 28

  A speeding vehicle was reported on Tilbury Rd.

  Citizen assist with two fingerprinting requests.

  A noise disturbance concerning bar music was reported on Alden Rd.

Mar. 29

  An animal complaint was received on the 300 block of Greenwich.

  Citizen assist with a message delivery request.

Mar. 30

  A suspicious person was reported on the 200 block of Jamestown Cir.

  Citizen assist with a fingerprinting request.

  An officer was requested in a civil matter on Industrial Rd.

  A family dispute was reported at Ray High School.

Mar. 31

  Agency assist to DPS with a semi truck blocking the roadway at Hwy. 177 and Ray Mine Rd.

  A damaged vehicle was reported on Alden Rd.

  An animal complaint was received on the 300 block of Fairhaven.

  Theft of a tire and rim was reported on the 400 block of Ivanhoe.

Apr. 1

  Citizen assist with two fingerprinting requests.

  A suspicious vehicle was reported on Greenwich.

Apr. 2

  Citizen assist with a request to open bathrooms at Hubbard Park.

Apr. 3

  A suspicious vehicle was reported parked at Ray High School.

  A verbal warning was given for an equipment violation.

  Citizen assist with a lift request.

  An attempt to locate a side by side vehicle was requested on Tilbury Rd.

  Citizen assist with a report of a bee hive in the middle of a tree at a residence on the 300 block of Essex. A bee keeper was contacted.

  During the period of Mar. 28 to Apr. 3 there were six ambulance runs, one vacation house check request and one 911 open line.
