The Superior boys’ basketball team will play two games next week, both of them on the road. The Panthers travel to Miami for a game against the Vandals on Dec. 1 before playing at Gilbert Classical Academy on Dec. 4. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Lady Panthers’ basketball team will participate in the 2014 Copper Cities Girls’ Basketball Tournament at Globe High School. A total of 12 teams will compete at the three-day event which begins on Dec. 4. The Lady Panthers’ first opponent is Morenci on Dec. 5 at 12:15 p.m. Future tournament opponents are to be announced.
Andrew Luberda began writing for Copper Area News Publishers (CANP) in February 2013 after working 15 years in Healthcare Financial Management. Andy covers sports for 11 high schools.
