Have you got stacks of old VHS home movie tapes sitting around collecting dust? The San Manuel Library has a great new service you can utilize to convert those old VHS family movies into a more useable DVD form.
The Library has recently installed digitalization equipment that will enable you to easily put the VHS material onto your memory stick (USB stick) and then burn a DVD at a later time on this equipment or on your own computer at home.
You must make an appointment to use the equipment (library phone number 385-4470). It is a self- serve usage with easy to follow directions. The first appointment will allow you to put your material onto your memory stick. Later appointments will be required to burn DVDs (blanks provided by you) from material stored on your memory stick or you can do this on your home computer.
