On Jan. 22 the second Teddy Talks was held at Rancho Linda Vista Arts Wilson Barn. Carol Mahoney introduced three guest speakers who spoke about their passions in life. Two artists Pat Dolan and Diana Creighton talked about their art and what inspires them. Pat talked about her journeys around the world meeting shamans learning to understand animal spirits and how it has impacted her art and life. Diana talked about the artists that inspired her and how she has evolved as an artist.

Linda Leigh talked about her passions which are composting and wormery. She said she has “obsessive compulsive composting disorder.” Linda would like to see everyone in Oracle composting. She runs Vermillion Wormery along with Doug Richard in Oracle. Thirty five people attended the talks which will be held on a regular basis at the Wilson Art Barn. They also enjoyed fresh coffee provided by Sky Island Roasters. Look for the announcement of the latest group of speakers. You can also view the latest Teddy Talks at www.copperarea.com.
