Boys’ basketball– The Panthers closed out their season last week with consecutive losses, including a 53 – 26 loss to rival Ray on Senior Night last Wednesday. They lost to Mogollon on the road two days later, 59 – 32.

Three seniors – Matthew Zavala, Levi French, and Richard Ochoa – played in their final game home versus the Bearcats.

Sophomore Jalon Murray led the Panthers with eight points and eight rebounds in the game. Zavala added two points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal in defeat.

Girls’ basketball– The Lady Panthers wrapped up their season with back-to-back losses against Ray and Mogollon last week.

Two seniors – Hunter Flanagan and Cierra Navarrette – played their final game at home on Senior Night in the 51 – 40 loss to Ray last Wednesday.

Navarrette scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the game. She also had three assists and four steals. Flanagan had six points, five rebounds, three steals, and an assist in her final game as a Panther. Junior Silvia Longoria added 10 points in the loss.
