Foreign exchange students visit Mammoth Lions.
On Saturday July 8, 2016, the San Pdero Valley Lions Club in Mammoth hosted some exchange students from around the world. The Lions hosted a luncheon for nine students who are part of the C. Kirby Smithe Lions International Youth Exchange program. Kenn Morten and Joe Osborne from the Tucson Lions Breakfast Club were the chaperones for the nine exchange students. The group was on their way to Globe.
The exchange students were: Allison Luiz Tombini Filho – Brazil; Thomas Dechaud – France; Matthis Nieuustraten – Netherlands; Bendik Lundeland – Norway; Silja Piispanen – Finland; Lara Hollman – Germany; Federica Manno – Italy; Marie Borup Ditlefsan – Denmark; and Florence Van Brug – Belgium.
