Presented annually, the safety certificate is given to a mining organization that has distinguished itself in workplace safety. In 2015, Resolution Copper employees worked more than 114,000 hours without a lost time, or medical treatment injury in its above and underground operation.

“Resolution Copper’s number one priority is the health and safety of every employee and contractor, and our goal, is to send every team member home safely at the end of every shift.” said Andrew Taplin, president, Resolution Copper. “This great result was accomplished by a very dedicated team that’s committed to putting safety first, always.”
