At the regular Oracle School District Board meeting held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, outgoing board members were recognized and the new board members were sworn in.
The outgoing board members are Nellie Doran, Jack Siddle and Kurt Steffens. Superintendent Dennis Blauser thanked them for the good work they have done over the years and presented them with a plaque.
School Board President Linda Thomas then swore in the new board members Jeri Taylor, Jana Looby and Steve Brown.
John Hernandez lives in Oracle. He is retired and enjoys writing and traveling. He is active in the Oracle Historical Society. He covers numerous public events, researches historical features and writes business/artist profiles.
