Mountain Vista Cougars weathering basketball season well

Basketball season is in full swing for the Mountain Vista boys and girls teams. So far this season both the 7th and 8th grade Lady Cougars have a record of 2 wins and 1 loss. The 7th grade boys are undefeated with a record of 4 wins and 0 losses and are tied for 1st Place in the Central Junior High Division. The 8th grade Cougars are winless with a record of 0 wins and 3 losses.

7th grade Lady Cougars

7th Grade Lady Cougars: Coach: Janice Vigil. Players: Bella Candelaria, Raelynn Herbert, Avery Jennings, Ashley Mendoza, Aolani Mikulewicz, Christine Ram, Sienna Soza, Analicia VanDero, Lily Vigil, Mariah Villalba, Tianna Whitman.

8th grade Lady Cougars

8th Grade Lady Cougars: Coach: Monique Lopez. Players: Giselle Goga, Yasmine Goga, Cat Mendibles, Pepper Nielson, Natalye Pineda, Amy Soule, Chyenne Valdez, Nathallia Valencia, Anita Lopez.

7th grade Cougars

7th Grade Boys: Coaches: Mark Tamayo & Pablo Robles. Players: Devin Escalante, Robert Fields, Isaiah Games, Coltin Henderson, Colton Hughey, Malakai Littleton, Noah Madrid, Sebastain Pinedo, Bixol Robles, Augi Westrope. 

8th grade Cougars

8th Grade Boys: Head Coach: James Goad. Assistant Coach: Damian Cline. Players: James Azul Candelaria, Allen Fehr, Riley Gillies, Alex Goad, Joseph Gutierrez, Hunter Hill, Bricin Ramos, Justin Tafoya, Dominick Whitten.

This year’s Cheer Squad: Coach: Danielle Maestas. Mascot: Sophia Maestas. Cheer Squad: Alycia Denogean, Mia Dale, Bella Medina, Sophia Gonzales, Cyvia Cabrera, Ashlee Parker, Saige Ortiz.
