Taking first place at the Kearny Koyotes Golf Tourney was the team of Chris Corral, Charlie Vega and Adrian Bravo (not pictured).

Third place winners were Reggie Lechuga, Pilar Lechuga and Johnny Archuleta.

Recently the Kearny Koyotes 4-H Club held their 1st Benefit Golf Tournament 3-Man Scramble at the Hayden Golf Course.

Taking home the top prizes were Chris Corral, Charlie Vega and Adrian Bravo, first place; John Garcia, Fred Cruz and Manny Garcia, second place; and Reggie Lechuga, Pilar Lechuga and Johnny Archuleta, third place. Other winners included Dan Hinojos, closest to the pin; Isaac Hinojos, longest drive; Don Ruize, longest putt and prize hole.

The event was a great success and wouldn’t have been possible without all the people and businesses that donated to the cause. The Kearny Koyotes would like to give a big shout out to all the sponsors of this fundraiser including Asarco, Resolution Copper Company, Gordon’s IGA, Rosalia’s Restaurant, Kearny Sheriff’s Posse, Ray Federal Credit Union, American Legion, Kearny Auto Supply (NAPA), United Steelworkers Local Union 915 and Eastern Pinal County Boosters.

Also Old Time Pizza, Ace Hardware/SNSI/Cactus Video, Sparkletts/Big D’s, She’s Country, West End Café, Blazer Softball, Wernett Pools, Keith and Monica Kenyon, Larry & Terri Bravo, Gary Beruman, Jeremy Reidhead, John Garcia, Brian Wallace, Bud Stepke, Chuck Dye, Road Machinery, Bestway Electric, Keller Electric, Laron Inc., Sturgeon Electric (Brad Ortiz), Alliance Beverage (Amber Shelby), Apache Gold Casino Golf Club, Van’s Golf Shop, PGA Tour Superstore, Hilton – Tucson El Conquistador, Snap-On, H & E Equipment Services

4-H Leaders Danny and Melissa Day, Zane, Patti, Tyler and Dustin Bingham, would also like to thank all the 4-H parents who volunteered their time and who also donated the food for the concession stand. Again, this would not have been possible without parent participation!
