The Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District is in search of former Hayden High School graduates that have served in one of the military branches to participate in the “Salute to Our Troops” program being held in their honor.  The program will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. All area veterans are welcome and will be recognized for their service to keep the United States of America safe and free.

Freedom, which we take for granted, comes with a price. Our young men and women that sign-up to serve in our military deserve our recognition and gratitude. We have many veterans in our community that have served our country with honor during both peacetime and during conflicts overseas.  “Salute to Our Troops” program would like to recognize their service to our country as part of our Veterans Day celebration.

If you are interested in participating in our “Salute to Our Troops” Program and would be able to attend and be recognized, please contact Superintendent Jeff Gregorich at 520-356-7876. All veterans in attendance will be recognized and receive a lunch served by the Hayden High School Culinary Arts Program. To help us have enough food for all veterans and one guest each, please contact us as soon as possible.
