San Manuel Elks Lodge serves Thanksgiving dinner, honors veterans

Having Thanksgiving dinner at the San Manuel Elks.

  The San Manuel Elks Lodge served hundreds of people at their annual Veterans Appreciation, Tri-Community Thanksgiving Dinner held on Sunday, Nov. 19. Many of those served were Veterans and everyone honored our Veterans and thanked them for their service.

  Out of town Elks members and volunteers included Lee and Betty Cook from the Catalina Mountain Elks; Ira Cohen, Casas Adobes Elks; Al and Jeannie Stevenson; Mary Shafer, manager of a Veterans Home in Tucson and Jim Miller, Leading Knight Tucson Elks Lodge 385.

San Manuel Elks — Trailer with durable medical equipment

  The San Manuel Elks announced that they are donating $10,000 of medical supplies to the V.A. Hospital in Tucson. They also are delivering, thanks to Al and Jeannie Stevenson, a trailer of donated medical equipment to World Care Organization that gives the equipment (wheel chairs, crutches, walkers, etc.) to anyone that needs them.

San Manuel Elks — Gifts for Veterans

  Over $5,000 worth of Christmas gifts has been collected and purchased by the San Manuel Elks Lodge and will be delivered to Veterans at the V.A. Hospital in Tucson. Thank you, San Manuel Elks, for helping our Veterans and supporting our community.
