Chiropractor Korey Toensing

There is a new face haunting the halls of the Catalina Clinic.

Chiropractor Korey Toensing recently began practicing at the integrative medical center and brings her knowledge of chiropractic medicine as well as her experience in clinical nutrition, fitness training and injury prevention to patients in Oracle, SaddleBrooke and Catalina.

“I’m a good diagnostician,” Dr. Toensing explained. She works with her patients to bring a whole body plan to help them heal. If chiropractic care alone doesn’t help her patient, she can help them look at their diet and nutrition and offer support and advice.

“You have to do what is right for the patient,” she said, explaining that she tailors treatment to each person (high-force, low-force or even no-force adjustment). Every person, she said, is different. She likened herself to a chameleon. She takes all her experience and uses it to treat patients.

Korey and her husband, Nathan, who helps out in the practice, and their two girls, Faith and Hope, moved to Tucson and the high desert in June 2014 after selling her practice in Naperville, Illinois. According to her bio, Korey became interested in becoming a chiropractor at the age of 15 after suffering a severe disk herniation. She graduated from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2003 and became the eighth chiropractor in her family since 1931.

Dr. Michael Miles (who authors the Health Issues column in the Oracle Towne Crier) is a family friend. He invited Korey to join him at the Catalina Clinic when she expressed an interest in opening a practice in Arizona.

Interested in an appointment with Korey? She takes appointments Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can call (844-772-6363), email (info@ToensingChiro.com) or book an appointment online (ToensingChiro.com).

Catalina Clinic is located at 15601 N. Oracle Rd. in Catalina behind Golf Cars of Arizona.
