The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. A civil family issue was reported on Second Street. An officer responded and separated the family members.
A possible burglary on Crenshaw was reported. An officer responded. Nothing was taken or broken.
June 1
Officers received a report of a possible child molestation/abuse case.
June 2
A resident requested advice after receiving a threatening letter from a neighbor. Police advised the person to get an order of protection.
An unwanted person was reported in the area of Second St. An officer responded.
An open door on a building on Main St. was reported. An officer secured the building.
June 3
A business on Hwy. 77 requested that an officer come and speak with a couple that had been there all day. An officer spoke with the couple. They said they were just passing through.
June 4
A fight was reported at the softball field. An officer responded and told both parties to leave the area and not return.
Two runaway juveniles were reported on River Road looking for a place to stay. An officer was unable to make contact with the juveniles.
June 5
A party contacted Mammoth Police department to pass on information concerning a runaway juvenile.
Calls not listed include: medical assist (12), animal complaint (1), fingerprints (1), vacation house watch/welfare check (3), fire (1) and traffic stop (2).
