Learn how to write grants, help fund your community projects

Florence – The Future Forward Foundation, Inc. (3F) has a mission to help fellow agencies obtain project funding benefits. To this end a grant writing workshop will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Town of Florence Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main St. in Florence.
  Early Bird Registration is $99. If there is more than one person from an agency, the additional members cost will be $89 each. Walk-in attendance will be $129., Payments may be made in cash or by check.  Snacks will be served and a list of local lunch spots will be handed out for the noon – 1 p.m. lunch break. This event, sponsored by Future Forward Foundation, the Town of Florence and Grant Writing Training Foundation  will be facilitated by Dr. Bev Browning, Arizona’s Grant Doctor and author of 42 books on grant writing, who is credited with $430 million in grant awards for her clients. Host Lina K. Austin, Executive Director of 3F will be there to tell you about her personal journey into grant writing, which started four years ago, and, how you can also learn this rewarding skill.
  Registrants should bring with them the information on a project that needs funding, a laptop or plenty of paper, pens and pencils and be ready to learn where to find grants for their projects and how to write an entire proposal narrative in one day.
