According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

Oct. 22
A theft was reported at the Circle K on Hwy. 77.
Oct. 23
A reporting party came in to advise that she had been told by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office that she could do a personal repossession of a vehicle. The reporting party provided a copy of the registration and title of the vehicle. At 1640 hours another party came in to report that his vehicle had been stolen by the earlier reporting party. The party was advised that because the title and registration were still in the name of the earlier reporting party that they could legally repossess the vehicle.
Oct. 24
Harassment was reported in the area of Arthur Place. Reporting party advised that a woman had come to their residence and began yelling at them and wanting to know where the suburban was at. The reporting party was advised that it was a civil matter and to get a restraining order on Monday.
A reporting party advised that he had received a call from a concerned citizen about a lady selling gasoline out of unapproved containers at God’s Filling Station. An officer responded and told the lady to leave as she did not have a business license.
Oct. 27
A reporting party called and said they had found a 10 speed bicycle on the Quad trail. An officer responded. The bicycle was tagged as found property and placed in storage.
Oct. 28
A party called to report that students had reported two bobcats walking towards the school on Dungan Street near Kid’s Closet. Teachers had also seen the bobcats.
An open door at the elementary school was reported. An officer responded and secured the door.
