The San Manuel boys’ basketball team lost its season opener on Monday night, falling to Baboquivari, 57 – 48.
Monday’s game was part of the Boyd Baker Small School Invitational, which took place from Nov. 24-26.
Next week the Miners host Ray and Hayden on Dec. 2-3, respectively. They’ll travel to the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind on Dec. 4. All games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
Girls’ Basketball
After competing in the Boyd Baker Small Schools Girls’ Tournament this week, the Lady Miners will play at Tanque Verde on Dec. 4. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
