Are you ready for a change, ready to take that first step towards healing?
On Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. Eddie and Tamara Apodaca will be leading a “Cycle Circle of Addiction” group in Mammoth at the First Baptist Church, the “Little White Church on the Hill,” 103 Galiuro St.
This class is not only for addiction, but offers support for co-dependency, loss, enablement and more. This is a Biblical class that will be using the Recovery Bible and other implemented programs.
Anyone is welcome. New beginnings require a desire for change.
The Apodacas were raised in San Manuel and attended school there. They have been together for 25 years and married for 23. Both are Ordained Pastors/Ministers, and have been in ministry for the past 17 years. They became Therapeutic Foster parents in 2005.
For 17 years they opened their home, ‘House of Hope’, to the community in hopes of recovery and helping people cope with addiction, depression, homelessness and domestic violence. Although this is their heart of compassion for people in general, they also have counseled married couples through Marriage Ministries International for many years.
Tamara has provided Chapel Services at Pima County Jail for the women’s population, and also worked with Behavioral Health/Addiction/Suicide Prevention and the Pima County Attorney Victims Division with Crisis Intervention.
Eddie has worked with the Juvenile Justice System for 20 yrs, and also been a mentor through Az Project Challenge mentoring high risk youth along with youth on the street.
If you would like more information about the class, please contact Tamara at 520-869-6715 or Eddie at 520-240-7670.
