Oracle Towne Crier
The Oracle Market, the only complete grocery store in the Tri-Community, is offering more variety and has new products. The market is known for its full service meat counter where a butcher will slice to order your fresh deli meats and cheeses. They make their own chorizo (beef, beef and pork and pork) and breakfast sausage. Their steaks, pork and chicken are premium quality and they offer a selection of fish. Bratwurst and Italian sausages and bacon are sold by the pound. Marinated steaks as well as beef fajitas and carne asada are available. The deli provides fresh made salsa and pico de gallo along with cole slaw, potato, pasta and macaroni salads. The store makes their own homemade beef jerky. Special deli party trays can be made with 24 hour notice. A 10 percent discount is offered for large meat orders with 72 hours notice.
The Oracle Market is now a great place for a quick lunch. The market is offering breakfast sandwiches and is serving hot and cold food for lunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rotisserie chickens are made fresh daily and are available seven days a week. They are now making fresh made to order deli sandwiches. They also have grab and go pre-made sandwiches, roasted chicken quarters and pre-packaged deli salads.
The Oracle Market offers Mexican food products such as La Estrella Mexican pastries, rolls and empanadas; Alejandros tortillas and bakery goods; masa and nixtamal; and Mexican Coca Cola in the bottle and assorted Fanta sodas. Saladitos and apples and saladitos and lemon can be found at the cash register counter.
There is a small hardware section in the store offering small items such as screws, nuts and bolts and some plumbing supplies. They also have a propane tank exchange section.
Items from local producers are carried in the market. They sell local honey and carry coffee both whole beans as well as ground from Sky Island Roasters in Oracle. Pies and cakes from the Patio Café are sold in the store and organic non-GMO eggs from Huntington’s Egg Farm are available.
The Oracle Market’s produce section has been upgraded and efforts are being made to provide more and better quality produce. The newest offering from the market is an ice cream counter which offers ice cream cones, sundaes served in a waffle cone cup and milk shakes. The Oracle Market is located at 760 E. American Ave. They are authorized for SNAP and honor EBT Quest, credit and debit cards.
