On Sunday, March 23, Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church (MSPC) will host its annual Gifts of Hope Market and Mission Fair. Immediately following the 10AM worship service the ramada will be turned into market fair that offers several of our mission partners an opportunity to provide information, entertainment, and even food samples.
Interfaith Community Services and Tri Community Food Bank will have information on their programs of food boxes and client services. Impact on So. AZ will tell about English as a Second Language course which takes place at MSPC. Habitat for Humanity was a recent activity involving church friends.
Middle Eastern Presbyterian Fellowship is an Arabic speaking fellowship that meets at Northminster Presbyterian Church. They expect to provide some spirited music and perhaps a bit of Middle Eastern food.
Frontera de Cristo and Just Coffee will be present and can answer questions about activities in the border area of Douglas AZ & Agua Prieta, MEX. Cross Street Ministries is operated by Southside Presbyterian Church, and offers services to the homeless. You can also enjoy a cup of Just Coffee.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance will have information on their programs. Reverend John Cheek, currently serving MSPC, has been a part of this team and can share his personal accounts of those who receive help.
The Market will last for an hour and a half. Not only will you be able to learn about these organizations but you can make a donation to any one of them, and receive a card with information about the organization which can be mailed to a special person.
